Next week or two is likely to be dead here as I'll be having some family stuff going on, but I'll try to sneak in some interim blogging.
The rundown for what's going on right now:
Some intermittent progress on MeTal, the blogging system I am devising to replace the software on all the sites I run. You can follow the latest news here. I hope once again to have something other people can use to power their own sites, however minimally, by sometime in the first half of next year. (Again: I hope.)
Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned — In lieu of actually writing the manuscript for it this November, as might have been the case if I were doing it as a NaNoWriMo project, I'm taking the month to try and plot the story front to back (NaNoPloMo?). Actual writing should commence sometime in the spring of 2016.
Ganriki, my separate anime blog, went through some slow spots due to technical difficulties — being moved to new hosting digs caused a few things to break, and I couldn't update the site as regularly as I wanted to. All on an even keel now, so I am attempting to get caught up with news posts, new articles, etc. I try not to make too many promises about what the site is; I'd rather have a few good posts than a lot of crappy ones. (Ganriki is a Patreon-supported project, BTW; if you read it and like it, even a buck a month from you goes a long way towards making nifty things possible.)
Still mulling over how to handle things like the books, movies, etc. I want to talk about. Spare time is at a premium for such things, and it's looking more and more like there just isn't the kind of time I can devote to such projects unless I win the lottery. They'll show up when I'm motivated to say something, I suppose.
